I usually just watch your videos without commenting, but i feel the urge to do so now. I was in Kreuzberg the same day you were and honestly just hearing the announcement in the intro gave me the chills. I still can't comprehend the ammount of destruction left. Anyways, remarkable support and organisation from you and your Team! stay safe

I know all too well about natural disasters. Last year Lake Charles, Louisiana got hit by 2 Hurricanes 6 weeks of each other. We didn't really get a lot of media coverage either which was sad because no one really knew how bad it was and still is. People still don't have a roof on their homes, insurance screwing people over. People need awareness of situations like the hurricanes and the floods their in Germany. If it weren't so far away I would get some friends to together and show how South West Louisiana handles things.

When I watch these videos I get overwhelmed thinking “where would I start”. But then I think of the Estonian expression “käed külge” meaning attach your hands to the work and it will happen. When I see what you guys accomplish at the end of the day, it’s totally “käed külge”. Wow. Big accomplishment from from the chaos.

As Always well done to you all at apex and the growing team of volunteers! You can all hold your heads up high as far as I am concerned, Epic effort from everyone involved, Thanks for showing that there is still places that need help! As Robert said, to the mainstream media it's now just an after thought, but you guys are keeping it real and showing us what's really going on! Maximum respect to you all as always! ❤️

Sounds like a much larger version of what happened I’m my area about 3 years ago. Ours was very intense heavy rain after a fire had burned the area just weeks before. We lost 23 local folks. One of the positives that came out of it was a volunteer group that started as literally a bucket brigade digging things out and then morphed later on to an ongoing group helping in many ways and still ongoing today. I could see what you guys are doing to help turning into something similar. Maybe some ideas from the local group: sbbucketbrigade.org/about-santa-barbara-bucket-brigade/our-story/

Misha. You are experiencing the joy that comes from selfless help given to others. Amongst all the grim faces you see beaming lights of joy on faces as they realize what they've done for another person. This will be life changing to every individual that participates in this mammoth undertaking that you are leading through the lens of your camera. If you can get there to help, in the way described. Go. You'll thank Misha years from now for the experience. If you can spare some cash, send it. I am. Kudo's Robert. Call them out!

What an amazing effort from the Apex team! You are super heroes. Out of curiosity, do you feel the ”official” efforts are on the right level? I get the feeling a lot of the rescue work is depending on volunteers like you guys, and in an advanced country as Germany, that shouldn’t have to be the case? In your films, there are mostly ”civilians” working, not suc much military, firefighters, police, etc? Still, I am deeply impressed of what you’re doing.

I find it fascinating that the riverbanks, roads and all of that sort in Germany after a flood with all the fallen trees look like the Russian south, something like the outskirts of Sochi, just generally. The dirt, the mess - it's all there, just one is a result of a catastrophe in a place where people give a shit, the other is of neglect in a place where they don't.
