Why not restore and wrap? It's far cheaper and if you get bored of the colour or it gets scratched up, you can rip it off. Then all you do is replace it.

Not if you drive a mk4 golf, they rust faster than you can blink. It's crazy, you go fromone year having a nice car to next year, having a rust bucket that gonna kill you when you crash. Literally everything on this car can and will rust, from the wheel arches, doors, door seals and the goddamn floor too. I drive a mk4, I know. But hey, rust = free weight reduction, the glass is half full!

go for the chassis restoration,, if you keep everything rusty it'll just be a pain to work on more so, and i mean just fix the rust, nothing more

But after watching your videos walking the track and a few of Robert's videos about what you both want Apex to be, I'm getting into the idea. I live in Colorado, USA so I have really awesome mountain roads to drive and enjoy. The idea of track driving instead is becoming more appealing as time goes.

Just like I mentioned it before. Of the trailer, drive over the border, back on the trailer.

Get the 2.8 rear diffuser for the MK4, it transforms everything.

Fix the body rough spots on the RingTracktor yourself. A lot of rust neutralizer/inhibitor products available. Clean it up and add a few band-aid stickers. Good to go!

@Layton B How i see it, yes peoples privacy has to be respected wich was done by censoring the plates and faces. crashes are happening on the ring and i rather got to see the real dangers so i can calculate better for myself. i belive those videos have prevented many accidents. but i can't prove my statement, i just feel that by not showing what really happens at the ring will get people into overestimate themselfs even more. sorry for my bad english. BTW, i am not here to tell you that you are wrong or something i just wanted to tell my two cents.

I added a subscribe to your channel for not showing crashes...while they are standard for a race circuit...the trauma at a medical and psychological level deserves a respect to privacy ... I worked in race operations and with safety safari at tracks, when you witness something with any level of trauma at a first hand level, you don’t want to relive it (major or minor)...its a matter of respect to track workers, medical staff and injured parties alike not to publish them ... that I personally appreciate...if the professionals whom get paid for the risk, crash that is something different... or if its a teachable moment with the involved parties consent that’s another!!! Hopefully this media credential long term proves worthwhile ... it’s the right thing to do!

Just rust prevention/fixing, can always add better airflow to stock bumpers keeps the stock look then, aside from the obvious give aways of jrz, recaro, ar1, protracks haha
