The fault on the ringtractor is probably the wiring for the injectors.. Common problem, you can temporary fix it by cleaning and make the connectors tighter with a plier.

We will diagnose the issue first and then install the built engine!

Recently I repaired my bumper tabs and had to unplug my fog lights, I refitted the repaired bumper and refitted the fogs. I was going to test that all the lights were working properly so started the engine up, only to forget the car was in gear and I had the wheel turned towards the wall to get access to the arch liner screws, as I was only half in the car (since I intended to hop straight out) it lurched towards the wall, and with me being unable to hit the brakes in time, lunched my front left wing and door (ironically sparing the bumper I'd just repaired and would've rather preferred be lunched instead). What would've been a simple and free fix has turned into a £200+ fix for me, to quote Charles LeClerc from 2019 Baku Quali, 'I am stupid. I am stupid. I switch off everything.' Having seen the recent car troubles Apex is going through I feel much better about my own car troubles haha, hope you get everything sorted soon!

That is the problem with most Diesel engines. Better to get petrol engine for the track, might last longer.

Why are all the number plates MC? I mean it could be Misha's initials, but with the M3 being (kind of, I know it is still part of the apex fleet) Robert's private car, it doesn't really make sense to me. I know all of the Apex cars have these letters, I just could never figure it out.

Its so good to see that you have Polestar 2 in your hands, you are probably only youtubers that will know how to set up those Ohlin's dampers properly :) It will be great if you can compare softest and hardest settings on them.

Check all the vacuum lines and simply replace all and you will know the difference immidiatly

The injector plugs like to make bad contact (old age )with the diesel injector inside the head , usually number 2 on those pd engines .

Of all places i am surpirsed that yall have to drill your own holes on your plates

The Polestar reminds me of a 1970’s Ford Cortina from some angles and a Mark 3 Ford Escort from others? It’s a fine looking car, but from the specs, it’s much heavier than the Tesla Model 3, Perhaps it will make a nice cruising machine? Although from the clips of your TF laps, you weren’t holding back..😂

I've had a test drive of the Polestar 2 with the performance pack - I'd be interested to see if you know enough / can tell enough to adjust the suspension (which I think is manual). It would also be good to see if it has the same battery heat issues as the model 3.

Can you tow it across the border ?

Mixed MK4 feelings. RingTracktor injury is sad but the new engine is coming! George’s Starlett sounds great and the lap in his MK4 was great! But the M3 is so awesome. Thanks Misha for the content mashup

Engine was gonna get replaced anyway, it just let go for convenience reasons by itself. Good to see the project is picking up. Love the look of that Polestar. Wonder how many laps it can do in a charge and if it has overheating issues like the Tesla.

I saw a polestar 2 yesterday and I have to say it had some serious road presence.

Polestar was a cool thing when they were modifying standard volvo's. The new Polestar is a weird, non-performance, over-priced pig of a car. Who buys these things? So many better options for less.

@Robert Mitchell As far as I know you can mod an older vehicle and still get historical license plates, if the modifications are contemporary and were common back then. Therefore camshafts and even engine swaps should be possible. But it advisable to collect proof (old newspaper articles, etc.), that the mods were in fact common.

Does the point about cars on trailers apply to vehicles inbound to the EU? I was planning on trailering the race car over later this year

Maybe, as it was with one blogger i know, you will be asked to put car off the trailer and drive it thru border control. Then you can put it back on trailer. When you are travelling to N-ring not from EU, of course. Which from 2021 UK isn't, sadly
